Dave Winstone is a musical chameleon, equally at home performing on stage in front of thousands, working in a recording studio or pit orchestra, or playing jazz standards or classical guitar in an intimate setting. Dave sings in 8 languages and plays 9 instruments. He graduated cum laude from Berklee College of Music with a degree in arranging, composition, and guitar studies.

Dave has travelled across the US and around the world, having performed in 6 countries and on 4 continents. His extensive repertoire ranges into the thousands, with styles including rock, jazz, country, folk, and a diverse selection of international and ethnic music. Dave's Down Under Songs & More

 
Dave Winstone, a native Australian, has returned to his roots with this Down Under programs. Dave sings the songs and plays a wide variety of instruments: guitar fiddle, mandolin and more. This program features a wide selection of Australian folk and pop songs, including shanties, sheep shearing songs, tales of bushrangers, the outback, and the country's unusual animals.
   
American Heritage Show

Dave presents a wide variety of American Classic Folk and Patriotic songs. He accompanies himself with a wide variety of instruments: guitar fiddle, mandolin and more.

The Dave Winstone Band

From a trio to a big band, the Dave Winstone Band provides the finest music for your listening and dancing pleasure. This versatile group covers standards, pop, rock, jazz, Latin, and international themes in either concert, dance, cocktail, or background situation. Led by Dave Winstone on guitar and vocals, the band will make any event a hit.

International and Ethnic Themes

French: The Parisians perform a wide variety of French standards, including instrumentals and vocals, in groups of 2 to 5 musicians. C'est magnifique!

Italian: Accordion, mandolin, and guitar playing tarantellas, That's Amore, Ciao, Ciao Bambino, and more. From a solo act to 5 pieces.

Oktoberfest/Oompah/German: Ach du Lieber, the group for your Oktoberfest celebration! From 2 to 7 pieces, playing German and Polish instrumentals, polkas, and songs.

Russian: Hear that balalaika singing out with a lively program of Russian instrumentals. Solo balalaika to 5 pieces.

Mariachis: Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Spanish and Mexican instrumentals and vocals. From a trio to 8 pieces.

The Big Island Band

Sway to the beautiful sounds of Hawaii with the Big Island Band. Dave Winstone leads this dynamic group with smooth vocals and exciting guitar work, joined by ukulele, bass, and steel guitar. An international artist, Dave has performed and studied with native Hawaiian musicians.

The band will also take you to the Caribbean with the sounds of steel drums, guitars, calypso, reggae, and Jimmy Buffett. Dancers are also available, for a wild island extravaganza. The Big Island Band has performed on Carnival Lines Hawaiian cruises, at hotels in Beverly Hills, Trader Vic's corporate events, Warner Bros. Studios, and private parties.

For your smaller event, Dave will sing and stroll with his ukulele or guitar.

The Dixie Dazzlers-picture

Led by Dave Winstone on banjo and vocals, the Dixie Dazzlers perform Dixieland, New Orleans, Americana, and Gay Nineties thru Roaring Twenties music, with a touch of Barbershop vocals. Either set up on stage or strolling through a crowd, the Dixie Dazzlers will lift the spirits of any audience.

City Slickers

Featuring Dave Winstone on guitar and vocals, this group performs a wide range of country music, western swing, bluegrass, and cowboy tunes—from standards by Hank Williams and Willie Nelson to hits by Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson and George Strait. The City Slickers have appeared in Nashville and up and down the West Coast. They will keep you on the dance floor all night with their lively music. Grab yer hat, git yer boots on, and come on down!

Kilgary Mountain Band

“. . . we play at wakes and weddings and every fancy ball. . .” and on Cheers, studio parties, and your Irish or Celtic event. Kiss the Blarney, put on the green, and get ready for a toe-tappin' time with jigs, reels, waltzes, and ballads from the old sod.

Dave's Aussie Bush Band

Dave Winstone, a native Australian, has returned to his roots with this Down Under group. Led by Dave on guitar and vocals with fiddle and string bass, the band performs a wide selection of Australian folk and pop songs, including shanties, sheep shearing songs, tales of bushrangers, the outback, and the country's unusual animals.

The band has entertained audiences throughout the U.S.—on television and radio, at fairs, colleges, and festivals—in addition to promotional appearances for Australian government agencies and companies such as QANTAS, Olivia Newton-John's Koala Blue Stores, Fosters, and Wallaroo. Dave's Aussie Bush Band has also appeared at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, L.A. Zoo, and Caesar's and Harrah's in Lake Tahoe.

Also available as a solo performer, Dave teaches Down Under dance steps, such as the Kangaroo Hop, Queensland Backstep, and many more.

Pirates and Sea Shanties

Aboard a ship or on dry land, Dave Winstone sings the romance of the seas to you through sea shanties and pirate songs. Dressed in pirate regalia, Dave will take you on a trip to the seven seas. Dave plays guitar, banjo, and mandolin, and is also available with his crew of fiddle and bass players.

Dave Winstone, a native Australian and world traveler, transports children across the U.S.A. and around the world with his musical programs. An enthusiastic performer, multilingual vocalist, and instrumentalist, Dave has brought his talents to children in schools, libraries, summer camps, and festivals. Dave plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, recorder, and harmonica, and engages students to sing along with songs old and new, rhythm exercises, and hand motions. Programs are both educational and entertaining and are enjoyed by students and teachers alike.

Take a trip Down Under with Aussie Dave. Dressed in bush outfit, Dave takes you on a musical trip to the Australian Outback.

Americana, Patriotic, and New Orleans: a program on banjo of Dixieland and Mardi Gras music.

Saddle up and ride along with Cowboy Dave and songs of the Old West on guitar and harmonica.

Irish, Celtic, Shanties: a wild romp through the British Isles and across the sea, meeting a few pirates on the way.
