Directory Details
- Directory will be divided into two sections: Children and Young Adult.
- Artists will be listed by performer’s last name or the name of their company.
- Advertising pages will be added to the inside front and back covers as well as marketplace ads that can better explain your offerings.

Eligibility Guidelines
- Participation is open to all artists who have previously participated in the County of Los Angeles Library Showcases and Directories or have received approval to participate.
- Acceptance of the County Libraries’ payment policy (6-8 weeks after performance).
- The County of Los Angeles requires ONE SET FEE for each area listed below for program(s) artists will be offering the library. No separate fees for mileage or materials.
- FEE GUARANTEE: The fee listed in the Directory for the program must be guaranteed for all programs booked for summer reading programs in 2011 at County of Los Angeles Libraries.
- Artists must submit to the county librarian on the day of their performance, an original invoice with date and location of performance; one grand total amount (no separate fees for travel, supplies, etc.); a Social Security or Federal Tax I.D. Number; and that the fees charged on the invoice must remain consistent with the fees listed in the Directory.
- All artists must be available to all libraries within the Los Angeles County Metro Area, except Catalina and the High Desert (Lancaster, Palmdale) which are optional.
- Only those artists listed in the Directory will be allowed to post their video footage on PerformersVideoShowcase.com.
- The program posted on PerformersVideoShowcase.com must be a sample of artists program listing (for the price, content, performer and area). If the program is demonstrated as a duo or as group, it is the duo or the group who must perform the program at the library. Do not demonstrate anything that would require you to change, alter or increase your pricing to the libraries.
- You must be available for general bookings for the summer of 2011. If you book programs for summer and then cancel them due to out of town booking you may not be eligible to participate in the future.

***Note: Artists who wish to have an additional directory listing of a significantly different program (judged upon submission) in the same directory will receive a 20% discount from their total directory listing price (this does not include advertising). |

Important Information
- The application process is only fully complete when we have received all the necessary materials: application, photo (if needed), new artist information (if needed), and check.
- We make every effort to ensure that your information is correct and provide viewing opportunities for artists to go online, view their entry, and inform us of corrections. An email will be sent out letting you know when the directory is posted and the URL to use.
