Planning and Ordering Guidelines for Schools:

  1. View programs and artist listing (www.dreamshapers.org/SchoolPrograms) to determine which one(s) best meet the needs of your school.

  2. You can also call the office at (888) 499-1270 or contact us and receive help from us in making your final choice.

  3. Decide on they type of program you wish from the artist: school assemblies; family fun night; classroom/grade level program. Here is some general information:

    1. School assemblies:
      1. 45-50 minutes in length so you need to allow 10 minutes before the start of the program for students to arrive and at least 20 minutes between performances for students to leave and next group to arrive.
      2. 3 shows on the same day generally with 20 – 30 minutes between performances.
      3. Generally are for 200-400 students at a time.

    2. Family Fun Nights
      1. Generally one 45-40 minute program
      2. Audience depends on locations capability (200 to 2000)

    3. Classroom/Grade level visits
      1. Are designed for 1 specific grade level presentation
      2. Audience can be 20 to 100 students

  4. Look to your schools calendar and determine 3 dates that would be available for the performance. You can also list them by preference – 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice.

    * We will hold dates so it is often best to call in and reserve a date even if you may need to change it.

  5. Determine the times of your programs. Our pricing for 2 or 3 assembly programs is based on programs that have a maximum of 1 hour between the end of 1 program and the beginning of the next. IE: a program that ends at 9:30 needs to have the next one start by 10:30.

    2. Dates you are interested in

    4. School name, address and phone number
    5. Mailing address for confirmations (if different from the school)

    4. Be sure the PA system and microphone are set up.
    5. Be sure all payments (checks) are ready to give to the artist that day.
Be sure students are ready to view the performance at the starting time of each program.
    6. It is often very helpful to explain to students the purpose of the assembly in the introduction. This program today is about….and we need everyone to be prepared to be good listeners and participants with our performers. So let’s give the ….show name or performer name… our full attention.
